In fall 2016, the University of Iowa Assistant Professor Alenka Poplin led the CRP 391:  Field Travel class to New Orleans to learn about planning, culture and history and to contribute to the WhoData.org community data information systems project.  The students visited Greater New Orleans Housing Alliance and were hosted by Executive Director Andreanecia Morris, who provided an overview of housing policy, practice and planning post-Hurricane Katrina.
